Summary:

"Sophie is a young Montreal actress starring at the Canadian Pavilion during the 1970 World's Fair in Osaka, Japan. At home, her boyfriend Michel is involved with a group of radicals protesting the newly enacted War Measures Act. Oblivous to the news from her homeland, Sophie discovers that she is pregnant. When she informs Michel, his distraction and disinterest drives her to an affair.
