- Julie Wassermann-Speyer (née Speyer) was the first wife of Jakob Wassermann (1873-1934); they were married In 1901, separated in 1919, and were divorced in 1926. In 1941 Wassermann-Speyer writes from Zurich and is seeking to emigrate to the U.S.
