Biography/History:
Lucy Tal (née Traub; b. 1896) was the widow of the Viennese publisher Ernst Peter Tal (1888-1936), of E. P. Tal & Co. Verlag. She was apparently a good friend of Alma. Tal had fled Austria upon the Anschluss, in 1938, and was living at this time in New York City.
