Summary:
Fragments of two 18th-century statements of Christian doctrine in the Zoque language, one dated 1736, bound with brief notes and 19th-century texts of Christian doctrine in the Zoque language. Includes the Lord's prayer, Ave Maria, ten commandments, and Apostles' Creed, sometimes multiple versions. Also includes two pages bound in of a corrected copy made by José Maria Sanchez of portions of Gerónimo de Ripalda's Mexican catechism in Zoque.

2. ff. 55r-58v: Linguistic notes by Berendt specific to the texts in this volume.
3. ff. 59r-60v: Doctrina cristiana segun el P. Ripalda en idioma zoque (two fold-out pages bound in).
4. ff. 62r-69r: Fragmento de la doctrina cristiana en lengua zoque.
5. f. 71r: Interlinear Lord's prayer in Zoque and Spanish, written by Berendt and pasted in.
6. ff. 74r-76v: Fragmento de la doctrina cristiana en lengua zoque escrito por un indio del pueblo de San Fernando.
