Writing from Paris, Galacho responds to a letter from Alma Mahler in which she apparently suggested she would be coming to Paris in the summer. Galacho implies that they were acquainted during the exile period that Alma and Franz Werfel spent in France (1938-1940) and knew the artist Annemarie Meier-Graefe, a friend of Alma, who helped her at that time.
