A. Persii Flacci Satiræ : or, the satires of A. Persius Flaccus. With the following improvements, in a method entirely new. Viz. I. The Words of the Author are plac'd in their natural and grammatical Order, in the lower part of the page; and such Words supplied as by an Ellipsis are omitted, and yet necessary to make the Connection and Sense complete. II. The more remarkable Rhetorical Figures pointed out, and plac'd at the bottom of the page as they occur. III An Alphabetical Vocabulary of all the Words in the Author, shewing their Parts of Speech and Signification. IV. In the Grammatical Order and Vocabulary, all Words of more than two Syllables are marked with an Accent, directing the Pronunciation. V. The Themes of the Verbs with their Government. VI. A Scanning Table, by which every Line of the Author may be scanned, the marginal letter, opposite to each line referring to the same letter in the Table. Vii. An Historical and Geographical Index, giving an account of the Persons and Places mention'd in the Author. Viii. Tables of all the Variations of Substantive Nouns in every Declension through the Cases of both Numbers, of Adjectives, Participles, and Pronouns; also of all the Verbs of the four Conjugations, with their proper Accents in the different Tenses, Persons, and Numbers.
