Remarks on an act of Parliament : passed in the 15th year of His Majesty's reign, on the Credit Of Vice Admiral Sir Hugh Palliser's Information, intituled, "an act for the encouragement of the fisheries "carried on from Great Britain, Ireland, " &c. to Newfoundland, &c. For the Repeal or Amendment of which, A Petition from the Merchants concerned has this Session been presented to the House of Commons. To which is annexed an authentic and complete state of the fishery in 1771.
