The illuminator : or Looking-Glass of the Times; being a selection of wonderful Predictions and Prophecies, Past, Present, and to Come, from the following distinguished persons, viz. John Maximilian Daut Peter Jurien John Tillinghast Dr. John Hervey Baron Swedenbourg Bishop Newton Dr. Goldsmith Dr. Smollett Mr. Love John Lacy, &c. &c. &c. When we consider that those recent Events, the French Revolution, and the Overthrow of the Pope's Authority, are foretold by those eminent Persons a Century ago, we cannot but assent to such of their Predictions which are not yet accomplished, but which the present. Period seems ready to disclose, and which will astonish the whole World. To which is added, A recent Prediction of a celebrated Preacher, Who shews the Destruction of Mahomedism and Idolatry, and the Restoration of the Jews, or their Return to Jerusalem: how Divine Providence will affect this, and bring about the glorious Millenium: and that England will be preserved from the threatening Storm. Addressed to all Descriptions of People.
