- Dedicated to Jonathan Trumbull.
- "First issued in parts to subscribers. No. I, in June, 1783, No. II. in July" (Evans).
- The parts were issued in printed wrappers, with advertisements of goods for sale by Patten.
- CtHi report a variant with "soldom" on the last line of p.34, p.107 l.30: "consiered", p.150 l.3 "bodies, and p.151 l.11 "pieces".
