Notes:
Evans attributes the almanac to Ezra Gleason, as he does the entire series through 1795. Gleason published no signed almanacs for 1780 with which to compare the present one, and the latter contains no significant similarities to the work of other known New England calculators for this year. The prefatory note is subscribed: "Philomathes, county of Suffolk." - Advertised in the Massachusetts spy, Worcester, Oct. 21, 1779.
