A slip-song - "At James's house, is a damnable rout,".
Originally printed as a 1/2⁰ sheet with another song on the right-hand side entitled 'An excellent new ballad on the fall of guinea's', with first line "One and twenty and six-pence, not three weeks ago,", which song has in the first line of last stanza "Hanover" (Foxon E553); the sheet meant to be divided.
The first song is a "satire on the quarrel between King George and the Prince of Wales at the christening of his son George William" and the second song a "Jacobite satire on the devaluation of the guinea .. in December 1717" (Foxon).
