Provisional cavalry. : The following are Part of the Resolutions of the General Meeting of Lieutenancy, held at Leeds, on Monday the 5th of February, 1797. -. s. d. For cloathing every Man enrolled - - - 2 9 6 For providing Furniture for the Horse - - - 4 0 0 For extra expences in maintaining and keeping the Horse fit for such service for one Year - - - - 6 0 0 For the principal ballotted who has not a Horse or having one that is unfit for Service, for providing a Horse to be approved for the purpose - - - - 15 0 0 To the principal ballotted, who is unfit for Service, for providing a substitute to attend the general Musters 7 7 0 - The Cavalry within this District are to be mustered on Monday the 17th of April for the first time; at Doncaster, Rotherham, and Sheffield.
