- Summary:
- In Dhadkan (Heart beat), Anjali is forced by her parents to marry a man they choose rather than Dev, an illegitimate child. Anjali's marriage to Ram gets off to a disastrous start, as Anjali refuses to acknowledge Ram as her husband. But despite herself Anjali is drawn into Ram's family's intrigue, overcomes her memory of Dev, and gradually comes to love Ram. However, Anjali's happiness is shattered when Dev re-enters her life, determined to get her back.
