Vol. 1: the author's life and his 'Essays'; vol. 2: poetical works and the lives of Lord Bolingbroke and Dr. Parnell; vol. 3: 'The vicar of Wakefield' with two subsidiary titlepages dated 1791; vols. 4-5: 'The citizen of the world', each with subsidiary titlepage; vol. 6: 'Th good-natur'd man' and 'She stoops to conquer', each with subsidiary titlepage; vol. 7: 'Poems for young ladies' with subsidiary titlepage.
The subsidiary titlepages have imprints naming booksellers N. R. Cheyne, Edinburgh, some also adding W. Coke, Leith. Evidently a reissue of the edition with general titlepage imprints reading thus.
