Two treatises : The First On Justification by Faith only, according to the Doctrine of the Eleventh Article of the Church of England. The Second On the Sinfulness of Man's natural Will, and his utter Inability to do Works acceptable to God, until he be justify'd and born again of the Spirit of God, according to the Doctrine of our Ninth, Tenth, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Articles. They are a Part of the Works of the Learned and Judicious Dr. Barnes, who had been for many Years famous as a great Reviver of Learning in the University of Cambridge; he afterwards became a Protestant, and was martyr'd for the Faith in Smithfield, in the Year 1541.
