A reissue of the author's 'Memoirs of secret service', 1699, and of his 'Remarks upon the D--- of S-----'s letter to the House of Lords', 1700, which has separate pagination, register, and a separate titlepage bearing the title: 'The Duke of Shrewsbury's letter to the House o Lords' (NUC).
'Memoirs of secret service' consists of letters "published by Smith, purporting to show his true connection with the conspiracy of Charles Mordaunt, earl of Monmouth, and complaining of his treatment by Charles Talbot, duke of Shrewsbury, and James Vernon." (NUC).
