- Evans attributes this almanac to Benjamin West, as he does most of those issued under the Bickerstaff pseudonym.
- Calculated by Nathan Daboll. The eclipse predictions are practically identical, except for lacking the diagram, with those in his New England almanack and gentlemen and ladies diary for 1795 (New London). The calculations for the moon, nearly all those for the sun, and the astronomical and horological notes on the calendar pages (with some omissions) duplicate those in Daboll. The tides column varies because of the difference in meridian between the two almanacs.
