- The two discourses by Ezra Witter, "Resignation to the afflictive dispensations of Divine Providence ..." (11 p., 2nd count) and "Gratitude and obedience to the preserver of men ..." (12 pages, 3d count) have separate title pages; the imprint for each names T. Ashley as printer. They were presumably printed before Backus's sermon; an errata note on pages 16 of the Backus sermon corrects errors in the second Witter discourse. Witter's discourses may also have been issued separately.
