Summary:

Ning (English and comparative literature, Tsinghua U.) examines the phenomenon of globalization as a cultural and critical concept from a Chinese perspective. In this collection of papers he describes the Chinese cultural and intellectual strategy toward globalization, its relationship to translation studies, and its impact on Chinese literature.
