- The attribution to Watts is doubtful. Cf. Johnson, H.A. New London imprints, pages 167-170.
- Imprint from colophon. Dated 1766 by Trumbull, Bristol, and Shipton and Mooney on the basis of advertisements. However, the advertisements, in the New-London gazette (Feb. 7, 1766) and the Hartford courant (Feb. 24 and Mar. 3, 1766), for "A wonderful dream or vision, concerning America" presumably refer to "A Dream, or vision of the night ..." printed at New London in 1766 by Timothy Green (Bristol B2655).
- The relief cut (Reilly 290) on pages 12 is the only illustration.
