Printed to accompany an advertisement, dated July 20, 1768, for the sale of 100,000 acres of land located between St. Croix and Pemaquid, in Maine. Cf. Bristol B2959, and Maine Historical Society. Documentary history of the state of Maine, volume 14, 1910, pages 87-91.
Both broadsides were probably printed by James Parker at Woodbridge, N.J., near Basking Ridge, where the Earl of Stirling, William Alexander, had his office.
