"Richard Saunders" is a pseudonym.
Probably calculated by Theophilus Grew. An advertisement for his school of mathematics appears on pages [32].
Advertised in the Pennsylvania gazette, Philadelphia, Nov. 29, 1750.
Two states noted by Miller. "In copies of this almanac meant for sale in the Northern Colonies Franklin directed Hall to insert on p. 34 [i.e., 36] the 'Superior Courts for New-England' in place of the usual roads north and south. The text of the stop-press insertion is with minor alterations the standing type of the version of the New-England Courts inserted in some copies of the Poor Richards for 1748 and 1749."--Miller. Bristol entry B11235 records the state with 'Superior Courts for New-England' on pages [36].
