Contains, in addition to the new charter of privileges granted by Penn Oct. 28, 1701: the Royal grant of the province to Penn by Charles II; the first frame of government, 1682; laws agreed upon in England; certain conditions and concessions agreed upon July 11, 1681; the Act of Settlement, 1682; extracts from the charter of Philadelphia; an abstract of the poor laws; and extracts from various laws.
