- The almanac is by Benjamin West. The calculations and wording of the eclipse predictions, and the calculations on the calendar pages, are identical with those in his The New-England almanack or Lady's and gentleman's diary for 1767 (Boston).
- Advertised in the Boston gazette, Feb. 2, 1767.
- A manuscript note on the title page of the American Antiquarian Society copy indicates that this was the first register published in Massachusetts.
