- Caption title (preceded by headlines): Militia Act, passed by the Great and General Court or Assembly of the colony of the Massachusetts-Bay in New-England: begun and held at Watertown, in the county of Middlesex, on Wednesday the nineteenth day of July, anno domini, 1775. And from thence continued by adjournments to Wednesday the twenty-ninth day of November following, and then met.
