"An act for apportioning and assessing a tax of forty four thousand nine hundred and thirty pounds one shilling and three pence: and also for apportioning and assessing a further tax of three thousand eight hundred and twenty five pounds eight shillings paid the representatives for their services and attendance in General Court, and travel, anno, one thousand seven hundred and thirty-six; and also for apportioning and assessing a further tax of one hundred and sixty-five pounds as a fine laid on the several towns particularly in this act mentioned for not sending a representative." Passed July 2, 1737.
