The map was drawn by Lewis Evans and engraved by James Turner. Cf. Stevens, H.N. Lewis Evans, his map of the middle British colonies in America, 2nd edition, London, 1920. The map is dedicated to Thomas Pownall, and bears the imprint: Published ... by Lewis Evans June 23. 1755 and sold by R. Dodsley, London and by the author in Philadelphia.
