The first complete English Bible printed in America and bearing an American imprint. Includes a resolution of Congress (pages [3-4]) "recommend[ing] this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States ..."
The New Testament has separate title page, dated 1781. Of the New Testament, earlier editions were issued by Aitken in 1777, 1778, and 1779.
