Bound in contemporary blind-tooled leather over wooden boards with vellum backed spine; 4 raised bands on spine; 2 leather-and-metal clasps (intact) with metal catchplates on front cover; author and title written on a paper label pasted to spine. Corners of top board damaged; numerous wormholes in both boards.

Wormholes throughout, especially in final quires, with some minor loss of text. Occasional dampstaining at top margin.
