A collection of four lobby cards for the motion picture Bhowani Junction, based on the novel by John Masters. Screen play by Sonya Levien and Ivan Moffat. Directed by George Cukor ; produced by Pandro S Berman.
The 1956 M-G-M film starred Ava Gardner, Stewart Granger, Bill Travers, and Abraham Sofaer.
Text on lobby cards: [No.1] MGM's drama aflame with love and revolt! ... Filmed in Pakistan. Cast of Thousands, 2 years in Production. [No. 2] Three Lovers - Ava Gardner, beautiful half-caste, is torn between the three men in her life - Stewart Granger, Francis Matthews and Bill Travers. [No. 3] Passive Resistance! Ava Gardner looks on as Stewart Granger, British Army Colonel, debates measures to keep the railroad running. [No. 4] Confession! Ava Gardner, half-caste, admits her love for Stewart Granger, and confesses to murder.
