- Penn Libraries RBC copies 1-3 each have different bindings: Copies 1 & 3 are similar in design, with author and title given on front cover in blue lettering. The covers of copy 1 are grayish tan, framed by a black band; the covers of copy 3 are off-white, framed by a black band. The spine of copy 1 is dark tan, with the author and title in blue and 7 black horizontal stripes at evenly-spaced intervals; the spine of copy 3 is dark gold, with the author and title in bright gold lettering, and 7 bright gold horizontal stripes at evenly-spaced intervals. The surfaces of the covers of copy 1 are smooth, while the surfaces of the covers of copy 3 have a textured feel. Copy 2 has a light gray cloth spine, with author and title on a small paste-on label on upper spine, and the surfaces of the covers bear a paste-on layer that is dark gray with a subtle criss-cross, weave-like pattern.
