- "Als fünfter Dreiangel druck wurde Friedrich Gerstäcker's Erzählung 'Herrn Mahlhuber's Reiseabenteuer' mit Urzinkzeichnungen von Emil Preetorius im Auftrage von Hans von Weber in München im Herbste des Jahres 1916 von Knorr & Hirth in München gedruckt. Die Bilder wurden mit der Hand ausgemalt. 650 Stück, von 1-650 numeriert, wurden auf van Gelder-Velin mit dem Dreiangel-Wasserzeichen, 40 Stück, von I-XL numeriert, auf van Gelder-Japan abgezogen und 20 Vorabzüge der Bilder, auf Kaiserlich Japan, in Mappen vereinigt.
