Summary:
Pearce traces the musical odyssey of blues legend B.B. King in a film that pays tribute to the city that gave birth to a new style of blues. He also takes viewers on the road and behind the scenes with Memphis blues veterans Bobby Rush and Rosco Gordon. His homage to Memphis features interviews with blues musicians and contemporary performances as well as well as historical footage of Howlin' Wolf, Rufus Thomas and others.
