It was in 2006 that Mexican writer Sergio Pitol, born in 1933, received a definite international honor. In April, he was awarded the Premio Cervantes de Literatura, equivalent of the Nobel Prize of Spanish literature. His literary universe blends autobioghraphy, fiction, essay and chronicle with incomparable magic. This first volume of his collected words presents his first two novels, El taqido de una flauta (1973) and Juegos Florales (1985).
