- Summary:
- 142 photographic prints, 6 lantern slides, 36 35mm slides, and 217 glass plate and film negatives of artwork owned by or in the possession of the Pennsylvania Hospital, including painted portraits of former hospital physicians and board members. Also included are images of sculpture and other two-dimensional works. Most notable are photographs of Benjamin West's "Christ Healing the Sick in the Temple."

- Most of the images dating from 1948 to 1984 were taken by Hospital photographer Robert S. Halvey; some photographs were taken by Emil Forney.

- According to Federal HIPPA regulations, patrons cannot view images in which patients are clearly identifiable. An appointment must be made with the Archivist to view any photographic materials.
