Biography/History:
The Pennsylvania Hospital was instrumental to staffing Base 10 Hospital in France during World War I, and in staffing the 52nd Evacuation Hospital in the Pacific during World War II.
Summary:
164 photographic prints and 19 film negatives of Pennsylvania Hospital staff members involved in military service abroad. Most images are of World War I and World War II, though some of the negatives pertain to general military service. Photographs from the Base 10 Hospital and the 52nd Evacuation Hospital include the military bases, medical service, and military personnel.
