Summary:
George, a Glasgow bus driver risks his job by giving a free ride to a beautiful Nicaraguan woman with no money. From the moment he sees her, he becomes infatuated. He finds her a place to live and learns that her boyfriend has probably been killed by the Contras. George accompanies her to Nicaragua where he helps her come to terms with her past, and at the same time, discovers more about himself.
