- "'The Inside Story of Adam and Eve' is the creation of Edward S. Jordan ... and Howard Coggeshall, who set it in type by hand ... and printed it at his Press in Utica, New York ... It is composed in Frederic W. Goudy's Village No. 2 ... the type is of Mr. Goudy's own casting from matrices he himself engraved. It was among the last produced in quantity at his Letter Foundery in Marlborough, New York, previous to the fire which completely destroyed The Village Press and all its contents (including drawings, patterns and matrices of this face) on January 26, 1939. So that the type may be preserved for posterity, the pages have been electrotyped. The book has been printed in an edition of 1025 copies, on ivory all-rag book paper, and the binding done by Randall W. Bergmann of Russell-Rutter Company, Inc., New York."
