"The first complete English edition was published in 1820 in two volumes, the first by John Miller in February containing the first four numbers, and the second by John Murray in July, containing the last three numbers. The English edition has a different introduction from the American, contains many minor differences in text, and includes two articles reprinted, greatly revised, from the 'Analectic Magazine', 'Traits of Indian Character' and Philip of Pokanoket' not included in the first two American editions. Publication was begun by Miller, who failed after the first volume had been published. Murray continued publication of the first volume and also published the second volume."--Cf. Langfeld.
