Culture Class Collection copy 1, vol. 2 is third issue. The placing of the two last illustrations and the underline of one of them are altered. Thus, the plate entitled 'Farewell' in the first issue showing Sir Peregrine Orme and Lady Mason, and facing p. 305, is underlined 'Sir Peregrine Orme's great love' and bound to face p. 311; while the second plate entitled 'Farewell' in the first issue, remains so underlined, but is bound to face p. 305. Culture Class Collection copy 2, vol. 2 imperfect: three illustrations wanting (p. 126, 247 and 265). The final two illustrations are both underlined 'Farewell' but in the list of illustrations are titled 'Farewell' and 'Sir Peregrine's great love'.
