- The passing of Arthur is one of the Idylls of the King. First printed (under title: The death of Arthur) in the "Trail-book" of 1868, p.115-139. First published in The Holy Grail and other poems, 1870, p.129-158. Reprinted in Complete works, 1900, p. 467-474. The passing of Arthur is also printed in Lord Tennyson's Works under title: Morte d'Arthur. There is a difference, however, in the setting of the two appearances of the poem.
