- "In some early copies of the first edition, occur two printer's errors which were corrected in later copies. Line 13 of page 2 is printed 'And gazing on the sullen tree' for 'And gazing on thee, sullen tree'. Line 3 on page 198 is printed 'To make old baseness picturesque' for 'To make old bareness picturesque'."--Cf. Wise.
