"'Sir Galahad: Knight of the Lidless Eye' is book No. 20 of the publications of my works that have not yet been printed in book form. It is part of my large book entitled 'My Symphonies.' The thoughts in this book were written between 1911 and 1917. In going over them to-day I find nothing of importance to change. Reading them now with a somewhat aloof and impersonal attitude, I find them, mainly, immortally beautiful and profound. At least they are perfect tiny mirrors of my mind then and now."--Foreword.
