The balance of the contents had been previously published or collected in book form, although the text (according to the 'Kipling Journal' for January 1930) was revised by the author throughout with numerous emendations and explanatory subheadings, while omitting the footnotes found in 'Inclusive Verse' (1927)."--Cf.
