This work compares the affirmative action/employment quity practices of six countries -- the United States, Canada, Great Britain/Northern Ireland, India, Malaysia, and South Africa. The authors focus on similarities and differences among the six countries in order to provide policy makers and practitioners with research based guidelines for formulation effective AA/EE policies and programs to eradicate systematic discrimination at works.
