This edition matches the original projection time. New digital transfer presented in its original aspect ratio of 1:33:1. Timothy Brock's new orchestral score was digitally recorded in May 1998. Film restoration and transfer supervision, David Shepard/Film Preservation Associates; video editor Bret Hampton, telecine colorist, Russell Bishop.
Special features: excerpts from the television documentary Flaherty and film; stills gallery of Flaherty's photographs of life in the Arctic.
