Summary:
"A plan of a village laid out on the property of Messrs. Burd & Powel situate on the west side of the River Schuylkill in Blockley Township, Philadelphia County, bounded on the north by West Philadelphia at Chestnut Street, on the southwest by the Alms House property, on the northwest by Hamilton Village at Woodland Street or Darby Road, and on the south east by the River Schuylkill. Surveyed and delineated in January 1833. Nathan Suplee."
Map indicates lots and properties owned by Wetherill, Parrish, Sheen, and Gardner. Proposed alterations to the area are drawn over the original map, with an agreement for division of the above property signed by E. S. Burd, Robert Hare, and John Hare Powel, dated 12 March 1833.
In brown ink with blue wash indicating water; map has been repaired.
