Title from marginal abbreviations on upper left of verso folios, which are written in a different hand. Title also implied in lines 1-2 of f. 1r. Colophons on f. 6r and 12r provide the title Pārthivapūjāprayoga. Author's name provided in colophon, f. 15r.
Author is the son of Vināyakasūri.
Written 9 lines per leaf.
Good condition. Paper dark brown on edges. Mistakes covered over with yellow, crossed through or blotched out with black. Orange powder rubbed in over some words. Marginal corrections, lengthy additions, and notes.
Begins: śrīgaṇeśāya namaḥ kalpadrumūle surasiddhasevitaṁ natvāśutoṣaṁ śivam aṁbikāyutaṁ sadāśivaḥ saṁtanute tha pārthivīṁ saṁkṣipya liṁgārcanapaddhatiṁ kramāt 1
Colophon, f. 6r: iti baudhāyanakalpabṛhadvāsiṣṭalaiṁgānusāreṇa śivarahasyasaptam āṁśagatahimavanmaināsakavādoktyanusāreṇa ca rahasye aṁśānttareṣu bahudhādṛṣṭānusāreṇa coktaḥ nātisaṁkṣipta savistṛtaḥ pārthivapūjāprayogaḥ
Colophon, f. 12v, in lower margin, written in another hand: iti śrīmat śāṁḍilyakulasamudbhavavināyakātmajasadāśivaviracitapārthivapūjāprayogaḥ
Text ends, f. 15r: rudrākṣadhāraṇapradeśā śiraḥkarṇakaṁṭhādayas tatra dhāraṇīyarudrākṣasaṁkhyā ca nirṇayasiṁdhvādito jñeyeti rudrākṣavidhir uktaḥ saṁkṣepataḥ.
After text ends, the word "samāpta" is crossed out, and a colophon begins, which continues into the right margin in another hand: śāṁḍilyakulabhūṣāmaṇivināyakasūrijanmanā sadāśivena sahastabudhyupātena.
