- Contains journals and accounts of the Woodruff, Peck, and Miller families of Bridgeton, N.J.; Unadilla, N.Y.; Wheeling, Ohio; Brush Creek, Ohio; and Trenton, N.J. Includes writings about religion and political figures: George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson. Contains correspondence from David Woodruff, E. W. Peck, and Hannah and Mary-Jane Peck discussing the present state of each family, elections, and the War of 1812. Also includes other correspondence from William Conklin, H. R. Merseilley, E. Plelurke, Joseph Reeves, and Mrs. Woodruff.
- Contains journal accounts of Noah Miller describing his journey from Philadelphia to Halifax and his exploration of the coast near St. Lawrence in 1765 in search of a healthier environment. Also contains a complete as well as an incomplete biography, written in 1805 and 1806 by unknown authors, relating Miller's travels, settlement in Canada, problems with the British government, the sufferings of his family, and his eventual return to Philadelphia. Includes a typed transcript of the complete biography which spans 1765 through 1800.
