Title from colophon (f. 33v). Cataloged by Poleman as Śivapūjāprakaraṇa. He refers to it as an "abridgment," probably on the basis of the colophon, which describes the text as being compiled (saṁgṛhīta) rather than composed by the author. Title from label is Śivavicāra.

The author, Paramaśivāśrama, is a pupil of Raghunandāśrama (see colophon).

Written 9-17 lines per leaf by multiple hands.

Good condition. Mistakes covered over with yellow, crossed through or blotched out with black. Some mistakes indicated by short vertical strokes above the syllable in question. Several words highlighted in orange. Several marginal additions and many marginal corrections.

Begins: hariḥ om̐. sarvātmā sarvavitsarvaḥ satyajñānasukhādvayāḥ. prapañcopaśamaḥ śāntaḥ śivātmāsmi svabhāvataḥ (verse 1). bodhānandaṁ svarūpaṁ munivaranikaraiḥ sevyamānaṁ maheśaṁ vyākhyāpīṭhe niṣaṇṇaṁ nijajanahṛdaye sarvadā saṁsphurantaṁ. cinmudrām akṣamālāṁ pralayahutavahaṁ pustakaṁ cāruhastair bibhrāṇaṁ suprasannaṁ gurugurum amalaṁ dakṣiṇāmūrtīḍe (verse 2). śivaṁ sāmbaṅgaṇādhyakṣyaṁ guruṁ vāṇīṁ gurum uhuḥ. natvā paramātmavijñānaśivapūjātra varṇyate (verse 3).
